More than half of the world's population suffers from allergies today. An allergic reaction can manifest itself in the form of skin rashes, itching, swelling, lacrimation, and rhinitis. This reduces the quality of life, and in some cases can lead to the development of a chronic disease or become life-threatening. In this regard, modern pharmaceuticals pay increased attention to the creation of antiallergic drugs, including enterosorbent drugs. One of the most effective and safest is Laktofiltrum, a dual-action drug that neutralizes the allergen and stimulates the growth of natural intestinal microflora.
Lactofiltrum. Pharmacology
One tablet of the drug contains:
- hydrolytic lignin,
- lactulose, croscarmellose sodium,
- Magnesium stearate.
Despite the “scary”, “chemical” names, all components are natural and of natural origin, which “adds points” to the drug.
Available in the form of tablets (10 pieces each) in contour packaging and in polymer bottles (30 and 60 pieces each).
A component of the drug is lactulose , a prebiotic that promotes the growth of bacteria. In itself, it is an ideal medium for the proliferation of lacto- and bifidobacteria; when it combines with water in the large intestine, it decomposes into a number of organic acids. They, in turn, help suppress the growth of pathogenic, “harmful” microorganisms, as if making room for beneficial ones.
In addition, this process allows you to reduce the amount of nitrogen-containing products in the intestines, which plays a role in eliminating intoxication. Having the described effect, the drug helps to get rid of flatulence, improve peristalsis and, as a result, normalize digestion.
The active substance - lignin - is non-toxic, it is not absorbed into the bloodstream, and is easily excreted without having a negative effect on the processes of the intestinal tract. Its role is to “collect” allergens, toxins, heavy metal salts, alcohol, metabolic products (for example, toxic bilirubin), microorganisms, etc. on its surface, retain them, and then remove them from the body.
Thus, Laktofiltrum for allergies in adults and children successfully removes allergens from the body, but forms a powerful protective barrier - the microflora of the colon. This is one of the most powerful immune mechanisms of the human body. As a result, dysbiosis and all its symptoms are eliminated, the body is detoxified and allergic reactions are eliminated.
Thus, Lactofiltrum is simultaneously an adsorbent, prebiotic and immunomodulator.
Chronic idiopathic urticaria. There is an exit.
All those who suffer (or have suffered) from chronic urticaria know very well what kind of ass it is. Although the disease is not fatal, it brings a lot of inconvenience. The worst thing is that it is difficult to treat, especially if the cause of its development could not be found.
But there is no need to despair. I'll tell you about a method that is currently helping me. This is in no way an advertisement or a direct recommendation to follow my advice. All my actions were carried out on the recommendations of doctors, my own ideas were also discussed with them. I recommend doing the same so as not to worsen the condition. First, the background.
I suffered from hives for a very long time, but the worst started this year. The rash was almost all over my body and was not going to go away. The tests were all fine (blood, IgE, H/bacter, parasites, etc.). I did a panel test (reaction to all types of allergens), everything was fine. The therapists all shrugged their shoulders, gave referrals to dermatologists, and those to allergists. I managed to change several of them. I tried different antihistamines on their recommendation - it didn’t help. I took anthelmintic drugs, as well as omez and metronidazole, because... We considered the possible cause of gastrointestinal disease (I had gastritis). I cleansed the body with enterosgel and lactofiltrum - 0 reaction. I followed a diet, even excluded meat from the diet due to increased symptoms. The only drugs that temporarily relieve symptoms are dexamethasone and, to a lesser extent, levocetirizine. But dexomethasone can only be injected for 5 days (I have reached my limit), and levocetirizine only partially relieved the symptoms. After trying all these drugs, I went to a psychologist. He recommended a sedative, but again it was useless. I visited two research centers on referral from the clinic, and they shrugged it off. But there was still hope, because... There was a meeting ahead with a gastroenterologist, who ruled out the cause due to gastritis. I lost hope for a cure after the gastroenterologist admitted that he himself had urticaria, which he could not cure.
